Zweck is pleased to offer a lovely 1970 911S, finished in silver over black leatherette interior with Recaro sport seats. Originally imported to California, where it remained until 2011, this '70 S has never been disassembled for restoration but has had most major systems overhauled or rebuilt including it’s mechanical fuel-injected engine, 901 transmission, suspension and brakes. A replacement 911/02 MFI motor, rebuilt with a 70.4mm stroker crankshaft and 2.2S 84MM pistons and cylinders was installed in place of the original 911/02 engine. This combination raised the displacement to 2.4L while retaining the highly desired 9.8:1 compression ratio--higher than both the 2.7RS and 2.4S at 8.5:1. The flat six breathes through SSI heat exchangers and a Dansk muffler, both stainless steel, and sounds fantastic. The car comes complete with four deep-six Fuchs wheels wearing 195/65-15 Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S tires and a matching fifth deep-six Fuchs spare with Pirelli Cinturato tire. The rebuilt suspension features Koni shocks and Turbo tie rods as well. The interior features a 380mm RS steering wheel, Coco Mats and appears to be highly original and well-preserved. In 2011, CPR installed an air conditioning system removed from another 911 of similar vintage with a modern Sanden compressor. This '70 S shows 43,000 miles on its 5-digit odometer and retains the essence of a largely original car, with improved driving characteristics an eye-pleasing aesthetic after benefitting from a re-finish in its original 8080 silver. The undercarriage and chassis present equally well. This '70 S comes with original jack, tool roll, and CoA indicating sunroof, comfort package, Hella foglamps, H1 headlamps and Becker Europa radio.
